Low-viscosity lubricants enhance motor efficiency but complicate cooling and lubrication, risking wear and sticking. In this report, we will introduce an improved polyimide material. The thrust washers made of polyimide have higher pressure and velocity limits than traditional metal gaskets under conditions of little or even no lubricant, which can effectively help new energy vehicles address the friction and wear challenges that encountered in the higher motor speed and compacted electric drive unit.
