Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. is one of the largest petroleum companies in Japan and consistently ranks among the Fortune Global 500. In order to cater to the expanding lubricant market in China, Idemitsu established Tianjin Idemitsu Lubricants Co., Ltd. in July 2004. In October 2007, the Tianjin facility underwent additional capital investment and was officially renamed Idemitsu lube (China) Co., Ltd. by the end of December 2007. Idemitsu manufactures and sells high-quality, high-tech lubricant products in China. In addition to serving traditional industries such as automotive, railway, and heavy machinery, Idemitsu also offers tailored solutions for the new energy vehicle industry, providing electric drive oils, immersion cooling oils for batteries, and lubricating greases for new energy vehicles to various automakers and Tier 1 suppliers.
